I never checked myself but I read somewhere that the s/l for the SW 586 (L frame) also works well on the Pythons. It could be since the L frame is a copy of the Python.

Python speedloaders are marked "PY". S&W L frame witch are marked "586-A" speedloaders will not fit right. PM sent.

I don't know of a Canadian dealer. Brownell's has Safariland Comp II loaders for $13.75 USD. Keep your order under a hundred and you'll get them no problem.

Wolverine just informed me that they can provide the Bianchi style speedloaders which are a rubber strip but other styles such as the Safariland Comp II, 6 round or the H.K.S. brand may be had at Wholesale Sports. Try them.

Wholesale Sports carrys the HKS brand. I just picked up three or so a couple of weeks ago. Likely you can get them or various other ones from their online store if you don't have one in your area.

As already stated, the HKS PY-A model is for a Python only and it states right on the packages that it is not for 'L' Frame S&W.
