Colt Python ( Thnx For Replies)

I love my 6" blued Python. I used it a lot when I shot ISU about 15 yrs ago. The double action is not that great in my opinion, but the single action is crisp and very hard to beat. With .38 wadcutters it is extremely accurate. I have not shot mine in probably 10 yrs. I take it out and fondle it a lot, but never end up at the range with it. Like Jeff/1911, I think I will have to make a special day with it soon. There also is not a finer looking revolver anywhere, it just plain looks fantastic. It's lines are classic. IMHO.

My python was the first handgun I ever bought. 6" royal blue. The only handgun I ever bought because I loved the look of it. :D

My Python Snubby

Here are a few pics of my Royal Blue Snubby that Strangeday was kind enough to sell to me...:D Thanks, Buddy!

When the moons are all aligned correctly, I too will own a Colt Python. They are truely gorgeous.

For now, I really enjoy the small collection of S&W revolvers that I own. I shoot the 686 6" the best. The trigger is a little sensitive but I can live with it. :D

The 'Cadillac' of handgun and foolishly, I 'traded off' the first one I had and kicked my butt for doing so, a 6" Colt Royal Blue. The one I bought to correct my foolish mistake, is a 6", serial # 2086, made I'm told in the first year of production. :Dt has the old style front & rear sights as well as the the older style fully checkered grips. The only thing I've had done to it was to have Kesselring's Gun Shop in Burlington Wash. 'tiddle up' the doubleaction on it. This one is a 'keeper'!;)

Here is a pic of my 6in barrel Royal Blue Python that has less than a 100 rounds through it. My dilemma is that my Python is so gorgeous that I couldn't bring myself to shoot it. I prefer my N-frame Smith over the Python.

Sigh, that is just gorgeous. Thanks so much for the picture. I love my S&W PC 627, but while it looks, handles, and shoots really really nice, it just doesn't quite match the Colt. I want one so bad my teeth ache. If you ever want to part with it . . . sigh.

I don't know what the big deal is. I hate all of my Colt wheel guns. I don't know why I hang on to them... sigh :(

Life is tough...

I lent my ultimate stainless 6" Python to my old man and my 6" 38 Diamondback is in the shop having the hammer replaced, so right now I just have these two to keep me warm at night. 357 Royal blue and the elusive 22lr Diamondback, all purchased here on the board, just keep them eyes open.

Ok, for a colt, that is pretty. you'd trade a pc 627 for a python?! Gee I wish I had one to offer you for it.....
