I lucked out at the Calgary gun show last spring and bought a 6 inch bright nickel Python with Colt wooden grips for $900. with factory box and papers.........that was quite a good deal.

Depends whether it is NIB or LNIB, papers, box ,etc - the price keeps going up.
So the real question is how badly do you want to have one! Then it becomes the price you are willing to shell out
