Hi all,
I recently build a Colt AR-15 lower and equipped it with a TriggerTech adjustable trigger.
For a while the pins were friction fit and did not move. About a week ago when there was a recall on the TriggerTech triggers, I had to remove the trigger from the lower to check whether the SN of my Triggertech was part of the recall, fortunately it wasn't. I assembled everything back and stored it away.
Fast forward to yesterday, I was out in the range and noticed after shooting, I saw a roll pin on my shooting bench.
I noticed that it was the front roll pin to secure the trigger to the receiver. It seemed to have walked out.
The rifle was pointing downrange and I reinserted the front trigger pin from the left to the right. When I placed it back, it was so loose that I was able to press it back in using my fingers.
What could cause this to be so loose. I'm wondering if I installed the pins backwards? Is there a possibility of doing that - I mean is there only one way of inserting the removing the roll pins for the trigger?
Thx for any advice.
