Colt SAA .45 LC 5.5" bbl

Colt 1873 .45LC Still Life

Sorry this took so long... but maybe not! Some nice photos of some very nice SAA's on here!!! Here are some I took of mine (yeah, I've got a couple too).
Some of the props are a Cold Steel Laredo bowie, Garcia spurs and an Arvo Ojala rig.

Nice! This might turn into quite the Photo thread!! Guns of the Old West!! Love'em...

Okee dokee, I believe I just permission to show more of my antique steel.

An original Remington 1875 chambered in rare 44 Remington calibre (most were in the more popular 44-40)

My S&W Schofield 2nd model revolver in it's original chambering of 45 Schofield. She is one of less than 9000 original Schofield patent revolvers produced in total by Smith and Wesson, quite a few less actually surviving the last 135 years. According to my Roy Jinks letter, this particular 45 cal revolver was delivered to the US government Springfield armory, in 1877

My Colt 1873 was built around 1890 based on serial, the Remington 1875 around 1877-78 based on serial, and S&W model 2 Schofield in 1877 according to factory archives.
