Colt SAA in 44 special pre 1898?

Okay, I am new to this area so please have patience. I see there is a SAA chambered in 44 special for sale in the EE. It is expensive but man is it nice. I can see myself forking out that kind of money for a "modern calibre" in an antique, however it would have to be exactly what I wanted.
Is there such a thing as a pre 1898 SAA in 44 special with a 5 1/2" barrel?

I know this is probably akin to newbies in the black rifle section asking "what is a non restricted black gun?" For that I apologise.

Basically I am looking for a lettered antique chambered in and capable of shooting smokeless loads. Is there anything else out there that fits this criteria?

Thats My 44 Sp SAA in the EE there were some Pre 1898 Saa Colts made in 44 Russian but all the 44 sp ones you see were Altered or changed from Orignal.
As far as Smokeless Loads keep in mind theses are Antique frames thats why in my listing i recomend Winchester Cowboy 44 Sp ammo as its loaded light at 730 Fps or so with a 240 gr Lead Bullet.
Some conversions use modern steel Cylinders and thos guns can be loaded up abit hotter.

Christy 44Sp conversions were done along time ago they were SAA colts Customized to shoot 44 Sp
Because 44 Sp is not on the list of No calibers its still considered a perscribed Antique.
They shoot 44 Russian as well as 44 Sp.
The one in the EE is extra nice very smooth action its got a 44 Special marked Colt made Barrel in that gun not just any 44 cal barrel.

I have another SAA colt with a 5.5 inch barrel it wont be for sale for awhile but will be for sale PM me if your intrested.
I have a Nickled SAA with a 4 and 3/4 inch barrel as well its in 44 Sp but its one of my keepers.
