Fn civilian line is made in a seperate factory. The US mil rifles are made to the actual TDP where FN civilian line is reversed engineered and they would get sued by Colt if they did. US colt LE line is the closest to the TDP out there for US civilian sales. Up here colt Canada is the closest you can get if any rifle to the TDP.

You could go a little retro with an RO727 or XM4...lots of 14.5" gov't barrels around.
My lady in waiting... I'm about to give up on this project, starting to lose interest. Has anyone actually built it on a Colt mark M4A1 lower? That's what I have been looking for.
I've built a couple on M4A1 lowers. My MK12 MOD 1 sits on one as well.
