Looks like it is coming out for mass consumption! I am a bit surprised Colt actually gets its act together! Looks like it is targetting the hunting/sporting crowd as well.

Cold hammer forged barrel - I wonder if it is a diemaco/Colt Canda product? If it is - EPIC WIN!

I shot the Military version of it in Bragg last week, its lite as hell, but recoil was less than Larue's OBR

Interesting gun, the Colt rep said it had 19k on the one we shot and was about to get rebarrelled.

Ambo features where a little to reminicent of our stuff.


Price is supposed to be $1,500 ish for the commercial semi-auto gun.

DI, like AR's should be. Low price point (relatively speaking) makes it sound very appetizing. Will probably experience absurd ACR-style price bump at release, though.

Colt is aiming to own the .308 commercial market with this gun, I doubt they will jump the price they intend to destroy a lot of the competition.
