Been trying to find a 3rd gen magazine for a buddies woodsman, it's been in his family since new but the magazine disappeared years ago. After hours on the phone trying to track one down in Canada I gave up and decided to rummage through the local stores magazine box. Ended up taking home a beretta mu22 mag to try. Works flawlessly with only a couple tweeks. The beretta mags have a 1/4" plastic mag base that the rear of needs to be cut of for the mag latch, other than that just some minor work to the lips and follower to tune it up. The berretta mags aren't cheap but they are easy to find. Just thought I would share this if anyone is looking for a late colt mag.
