Have just purchased a Colt 1911 A1 Gold Cup in 22 cal.
This gun is made by Walther
It comes with a chamber empty piece of blue plastic as will as another black moulded rectangular piece
I don't see any mention of it in the instruction book. What is it's purpose
Also what trigger lock would you recommend as the regular keyed ones do not fit very well- seem to interfere with the magazine release
Havn't shot it yet but the quality looks good
Thanks

A normal trigger guard lock from Canadian Tire works fine for me. I have also used those locks with iron tethers that go through the magwell. I do not use the rubber pieces you speak of. I have no use for them.

The black plastic thing is to help load the magazine without getting a sore thumb.
