When I looked into it, you can NOT. All thanks to the beloved Liberal Party of Canada and Alan Rock. These are considered AK47 Variants. Sorry!

Very good point. Now that they are out it would be interesting to find out with which CPC MP we could best address this problem.

If anyone has any ideas please feel free to provide them. There are several Saiga dealers in the U.S. so it wouldn't be that difficult to import one if the above-mentioned problem was dealt with.

My uncle told me the other day that they fired mortars for 10 years before being issued hearing protection with the Canadian forces.

I shoot 12 gauge all the time (while hunting) with no protection..

Anyway, cool guns, maybe someday they won't be prohib.

If you need that many rounds of 12 g for home defense, it's time to move.

Indeed:D

But for S.W.A.T. interventions it seems to be the right thing.

Check out this Russian gun store in Montreal. The ownwer is trying to get Saiga guns into the country but his order has been blocked at customs for a while. It says on his web site that the case is in court.

www.armrus.com

so a search on here you'll see lots of threads on armrus, they have apparently closed down....
