Combination gun

I have always been a big fan of combos and drillings. I have a drilling in 1x1.2x7.65r and the Vrno. The drilling is actually slightly lighter than the Brno.

The combo is a Brno 7x65R over 12 gauge with 21" barrels with a second set of 24" fitted 12 over 12 gauge vented barrels with its own forearm. It has a Brno quick detach scope mount and a 3x9 Elite 3200 scope with a gloss finish to match the gloss bluing on the gun. Works great for a walking around gun. Very useful for bear protection.

Being from the old country I'm a little biased towards BBFs(Combo guns) and Drillings. They are versatile especially for calling Whitetails.Bears and Predators.Slug or 00 in the shotgun barrel and the centerfire cartridge in the bottom barrel.
I also use it when I train dogs on Rabbits with the chance of Wolf/Coyote encounters.

Here is another of the Drillings I use, this one is 12.12x 7x57R with a 22 RF insert for one of the shotgun barrels. The insert has independant adjustments on it so you can adjust the insert POI so it hits dead on the crosshairs or sights at 25 yards.

If I decide to go with a drilling that is what I would try to find for it a 22lr insert.
