You could always use a regular briefcase. It has a stealth factor to it as well. There's also a Pelican case that's used for laptops that would be about the right size and it has built in combo locks.
I totally agree with you about keys! I converted all my trigger locks over to combos after I had to drill off a key lock...I just couldn't find that pesky key anywhere.
I picked up this sturdy briefcase pretty cheap off ebay (for transport).
I put in thick foam left over from the packing of my wife's new Dell laptop and I'm able to put in 3 handguns. The foam is thick and tight enough that the hg's do not move a millimeter once I close the lid.
My goal is to replace my keyed safes with combos as well.
Get some combination luggage locks from any travel accessory store.
I do the same - All of mine set to the same combo.
And if you do put multiple firearms in the same case, I would like to gently but firmly suggest that ALL MUZZLES point the SAME WAY.
Kind of hard to keep all muzzles down range when uncasing, if your guns are pointing in three different directions - One of the best pieces of advice I received years ago was to point them all the same way, and then draw a small arrow somewhere on the outside of the transport case, indiicating muzzle direction of the contents.
It makes your neighbours on the firing line much happier when you uncase, and don't point a handgun at them!
