Trade ex is a good place to keep an eye on. It's seems like every few months they have a pile of them come in all at once. I know a few years ago shooters choice in Waterloo On could order in Baikals but didn't keep in stock. Ellwood Epps used to carry the Baikals as well.

I have a Baikal 12ga/.223 and know guys with 308 and 30-06 versions. These guns are tanks and my barrels seem to be fairly well regulated.

I was tempted to get another in 308 but decided to let it go, it would have been just under $800 if I had bought it.

I have a Brno 7x57R/12ga. It comes into its own here on the Island, especially for those 'wet coast' and windy days walking skid roads in river bottom areas. Handy when you could end up pushing out either a Blacktail buck or a Ruff Grouse. Also have a set of skeet barrels for it.

Mucmst they be single shot only both barrels or is there an option which has 3-4 centre fire rounds and 1 shotgun round?

My bad this was written on a Samsung phone that invents words.
My question was do they make these rifles/shotgun combos where the shotgun clambering holds 1 round and the centre fire rifle chamber holds more than 1 in a magazine or tube?
I like the idea of a combo gun but would like more than 1 rifle shot.

Innoguns hybrid pump action combo gun. Has a magazine that holds 4 rifle shells and is a pump action rifle and 12 ga single shot on top. It's a German made gun.Don't know that they're available over here but just looked on their site and has a price tag of 5300-6300 euros (no clue how much that would be Cad).

I like the idea of a combo gun, but I have never been able to find one that perfectly suits what I am after.

I want something that is good for moose, and something that is good for small game on the way back from the stand.

I would either want a 12ga on a 22, slugs for the big ones and 22 for the critters, or alternatively a 308/30-6 on top of a 20 ga.

All the combo guns I see are either big/big 12ga on a large rifle cartridge, or small small, 20 ga on a .22.

I want a big/small combo gun. Anyone?

I got into combo guns thinking it would be perfect for deer and birds at the same time. I got a dog and now I don't go for birds without her so I never got to try it out

Hmm 5300 Euros may be a bit out of my budget. I would like
Rifle cal 8mm, 30-06 or .308 over a 12ga with a full or improved modified choke (or interchangeable). With 3-4 rifle rounds and 1 shotgun.
I'd like it to cost under $1500, be equipped with iron sights with rail/ring options and it should weigh under 9lbs...
A man can dream!

The big/small combo is a bit hard to find. I was looking around for the same thing, and the closest I got to considering one was a Sauer drilling in 16/16/7x57. 16 wasn't small enough, but was the best I could find.

I ended up with a 20ga O/U. I tried the IC barrel with slugs, and it worked very well for what I need. The thinking here was that I only need the combo for deer in close woods as I grouse hunt in deer season sometimes, and have lost a few deer opportunities in the past when one popped out. Then I can use the same gun with shot in both barrels for everything else, the rest of the year. I didn't get to hunt this year, so it is yet to be tested.
