...all I need now is the power supply, in the mail. Just saw Canada post is not locking out workers tomorrow. Here is hoping I get the magic package before the mail stops.

I've hooked it to a d cell battery just to make the motors spin and it appears everything is ready to go. Used the instructions found on Google for "$75 diy annealer." Cost a little more than $75, but way less than $800- even when you include the drill press my gorgeous wife got me for Father's Day. Fit and finish not perfect, but when you consider the "F" I receive for that bird house in grade 7 shop, I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out.

Yes, electronics are from Amazon and delivered via slow boat.

The torch holder is made from aluminum, and I must admit it was outsourced to my cousin who is a millwright. I found another setup on the interweb and they used a large u bolt with the associate hardware to hold up the torch- like a stand, not attached to the annealer case. If I did not have talented family to turn to, I would have gone this route.

To cut the cake pan, I attached a dremmel cut attachment to my drill press, adjusted to the appropriate height, then just rotated the pan to make the cut.
