Come by the store this weekend to have a look at the production version of the Type 97NSR rifle, the NON-RESTRICTED 5.56mm bullpup designed to use standard AR15 magazines including 10-round LAR15 pistol magazines!

Find out how it fits you, how you like the trigger and sights, and get your name down for one before they're gone -- we have a limited number of preorders available now!

See you there,
Daniel

Cheers

This is not fair for your far away customers, i would love to shoulder one of those... Cheers. JP.

Is it green or is that just the photo ?

It's not green, it's black. I got to fondle it last weekend (it was in Ontario). I'm still not sold on bullpups but the NR status and price makes these pretty tempting. The finish was better than I expected and it felt reasonably well balanced. They are going to fly off the shelves without a doubt!

My pre-order has been in with you guys since Dec 5, 2012. Would sure love to fondle that baby a little bit to tide me over haha. Can't wait!

ps. Thanks for the S&W 686, I love it!

We should have it here for a couple of weeks, we will be taking it to the range as well. Will post a detailed review here shortly

Range party!!! Wooott! I was able to shoulder it today. It feels very nice. I need to look at it again and pay more attention to sights. It weighs a bit more than I expected and that's a good thing. Nicely balanced. It will be fun to shoot that's for sure.

To clear up the confusion we've updated the product photo using photos of the actual Type 97NSR we have in our hands!

Pre-orders are open again for the FIRST shipment of these rifles this summer. Click HERE or the image above to see the product on our site.

Cheers,
Daniel

It's definitely not green. Stopped by the shop today to take a look not a huge black gun fan but this one has piqued my interest a bit. Feels solid and is nice and compact. Would fit great in a pack if you wanted to take it on a hike.

Went in today and checked it out, they had a tavor sitting beside it so after checking out the tavor the 97 felt cheap, but for 1/3 the price of a tavor I will take the two that I prepaid for. I hope they shoot as good as they are ugly, If they do I will be needing the second rifle for parts.lol....oh ya it is nice and short and handles well.

I dropped by as well.
The selector switch has only F ans S, as expected. The one I handled five years ago from Lever had a 3 (for 3 round burst) and a 30 as well. Even though it was disabled, I expected that to cause trouble, which it did.
So there is no doubt that this new version is built from the ground up as semi only.

I also found that the rear site aperture is hard to locate and view through. Maybe that was because of the low light in the store, I dont recall the same thing 5 years ago. Of course, my eyes were 5 years younger then...
