We are ordering a heavier guage wrap and will give that a try. Thanks for the feedback.
 
I had about 8000rds show up so far and packaging was fine, sure the black plastic was torn up some on a few boxes, but there is still a banded tough box surrounding the ammo boxes, i was pleased.

If you met a few of these canpar guys handling the freight, and see how they work, every package is going to see surface wear, i also bet using thicker poly for the shipping packages will subject it to tearing off completely when getting snagged, also shippers will try lifting the boxes by the folds or joints in the plastic, resulting in large openings/complete tear offs.
