Not sure if this is the right spot, but they sell mostly black rifle parts.

On Aug 21st 2009, I ordered the PRFCS system and some other minor things.I waited 5 weeks before i contacted them and was told "can take up to 8 weeks, please contact us then if you have not recieved your order".
so i waited 9 weeks and they said they would send my order. Well after 13 emails and 6 different contacts, i finally got a hold of someone.
here is the email response:
Hello,
I see you have made numerous attempts to contact CAA and i am intervening at this point due to the fact that CAA employees are not here to assist with this. Is there a phone number i can contact you on to take care of your order?

Thank You, Ben Beason

So the scoop is that CAA is now bankrupt due to the their ceo's dumbass moves. Mr. Beason said he would send out my order this week and email me a tracking #, lets see if this happens. If not my creditcard company said they would reverse the charges. I will update post if I do receive my order.

Dont order anything from CAA directly, or any of their resellers that dont have what you want in stock. Hopefully they resolve their issues and stay around, until then beware.

Well, I have loved every CAA product I have ever purchased. Not sure what people are complaining about. And I think perhaps you are talking about CAA in the USA. CAA which is in Israel I believe is still going strong. Because of the US nonsense, CAA Israel has been shipping directly to Canada.

CAA might not be high quality stuff, but its usually pretty solid and does cater to a price market of people that cant spend hundreds of dollars on scope mounts or rails.

Usually I am the first to suggest people save some coin to get good quality stuff, but I am very happy with my FAB Defense railed forend, for my Benelli shotgun. I dont want to pay 500+ dollars for the B&T rail, when the FAB one works just as well!

There is a market and reason for that stuff - not everyone can afford the cool brand. If TAPCO makes accessible products to more people, why not?

Less crap on the market is a good thing, now if only TAPCO, UTG and Mako would shrivel up and die I'd be a happy man.

What bothers you more. That cheap crap like this has a buyer's market, or that it always seems to find one inside places like NDHQ?

I wish I could laugh, but its more of a painful memory.

.... if only TAPCO, UTG and Mako would shrivel up and die I'd be a happy man.

Then we would be back to where we were last year. A shortage of parts and accessories. Then what.
Everything would double in price. Just like P-mags went to $60 a piece, you will be paying $250 for a CTR or $120 for a MIAD grip.

There is nothing wrong with TAPCO or the others.

Depends how you look at it.

Your endorsing parts that work for very basic use as incurred while running inside your lane to a number of guys well known for long careers running inside a faster lane.

My belly prefers the slower lane :p

And we all know, living here means surviving the harsh conditions of the range bench.....:yingyang:
