Good to know, btw how firings until annealing is necessary?, and also what’s the max firings until the brass is done?, not really loading warm load . More of accuracy is I’m after, 500 yards max , majority within 300 is the range have access.
I can't say I have infinite knowledge of 6.5 x 47s, but my personal experience (and those of other competitors) with 308 Win in F Class is this.
If you:
(1) use quality brass (such as Lapua),
(2) anneal after every firing,
(3) bump size your brass just enough that it chambers smoothly,
(4) avoid running them extra spicy hot
then your brass will most likely be done when they start dropping primers.... at least that is what I have gathered.
When I used to do a full resize (like balls deep into the die) on my Lapua brass (Lakecity as well), they would be separating around the web at around 4 to 6 firings.
Now that I bump size, I have a batch of 500 Lapua that have been reloaded at least 8 times.
I try to reload only what is need the night before a match (about 75 rounds), that way, if/when I drop primers on the line, then I won't have 425 cartridges to disassemble to salvage powder and projectiles.
When that day comes, I will problaby end up throwing the entire batch out and my barrel will most likely need replacing too.
