Hi,
I just bought a Russian TT33 and would like to know parts commonly break on them, (if any) so that I can stock up on a few while I can still find 'em.

Regards,

Braden.

Personally,I find that wallets are the first to go.They are kind of like that snack food that once you have one you have to have another. On a more serious note, recoil spring and perhaps a hammer spring. The rest is good old Russkie engineering, built tough to do the job and after your done use it as a hammer. After your done using it as a hammer put the mag back in and use it as before.

Now THAT was a great answer! Cracked me up but its also so true

mine keeps stovepiping lately, other than that nothing has broken(knock on wood). I do notice also right from the beginning i have to keep my pinky under the mag to hold it in otherwise it drops down a bit when firing

The tip of the sear, broke off after 80-100 rounds though my tt-33. It still fires but wont auto ####. But it's an easy fix, that I haven't gotten around to fixing yet.

Nothing on mine has ever broke, I've put about 600-700 rounds through it already.

The only real stoppage I've ever had was the extracter tore a chunk out of the rim of a casing after firing the round and the cartridge case was stuck in the chamber partially extracted.
I just stripped it, pried it out with a screwdriver, oiled up the bolt and she fired another 100 rounds without issue before I quit for the day :D

To be honest it was probably my bad as I had been running the gun basically dry with almost no oil or grease on the rails since I bought it.

Now I just oil the #### out of it and have had zero issues.
