Definitely order the extended Tac Ord lifter. Extended lifter is a must have IMO, and theirs is very good.

Or you could do the Vezzoli mod at home for free. I just did it on my 1301 and I am really liking it, not sure if it can be done on the Versamax though.

Interesting, never thought of trying that. Not sure how well it would work. The good thing about buying a lifter from Tac Ord is that you get a whole new lifter, meaning you can experiment with the factory one and if you wreck it you still have the Tac Ord one.

I did have 2, I trimmed one short to avoid thumb pinching, But the shells weren't going in on the right angle after and it gave me some issues. So I put the stock one in until I order the extended one.

Factory feed port on the 1301 Competition model yes. Since I did this mod it has worked 100%, no issues and so much better on my thumb.
