Whats really cool about the Contender carbines is you can switch things around here are a few more pic's.

A fellow CGN'er sent me some pics of his work in progress,
a Lee Enfield in .45-70. Although it's not super compact
this will be a sweet carbine when it is completed.
Oh... I hope he switches out that hard brass butt plate.

Now this is cool and the only practical use I would ever have for a Mare's Leg I could see myself owning a set up like this.

How many rounds does it hold.

I agree the mares leg quickly lost it's appeal and I had decided to sell it, then I saw an ad on EE for the stock now this little beauty is not going anywhere, for now anyway...

It holds 5 rounds in the tube.
