the xps-2 has the bonus of the dot in a circle reticle

any i am missing. i am trying to decide which one i want to put on my cz 858, obviously smaller dot size/reticle is better on a rifle. i am also considering things like battery life and durability under adverse conditions (i do not baby my

I went with the Vortex SPARC on my 858 . Check reviews on it. It cost me around 200 and so far I am really pleased. 2moa dot. Easy to adjust and waterproof. The only downfall I have found was locating the CR2354 battery. Good thing there is a Battery Wolrd near by so I stocked up. Im pretty sure Vortex has a lifetime warrenty aswell. Bang for buck its good.

We are now carrying Docter Optics here in Canada.

Pricing will be quite good. ;)

Should have stock shortly.

i already have a couple of sparcs they are good but not what i am looking for for this rifle(not holographic) , i would sooner go to an aimpoint h1 or t1 as i find the sparc batteries do not last very long

want to try the holosight thing i have liked ones i have used in the past

and farmboy when do you figure you will have pricing and stock?

I've got a Leupold Deltapoint. Well made, compact, convenient and utterly reliable. However, sighting it in is a finicky business. Once you've got it zeroed to some range you won't want to change it, trust me. However, the dot is very bright under range conditions (covered bay) and at 3.5 MOA , really too big for precision accuracy past about 25 yds.

I also owned a Vortex SPARC but had to return it. I could never resolve the dot - it always smeared into two fuzzy dots. Might have been a defective unit or maybe just my eyes. Whatever.

My personal fave for a compact sight is the Aimpoint H1. Really a quality piece, easy to adjust (including dot brightness, which also adjusts the size) and the batteries last forever.

That said, I've been very pleased with inexpensive Chinese red dots on guns I don't shoot that often, like my AR15/22 conversion.

Yes I also find the dot is the sparc to be a bit fuzzy and unclear. I had a aimpoint comp m4 loved everything about it except for the size.
