Compact Pistols

Anyone else here that prefer and/or shoot better with compact sized pistols???

I have smaller hands and found I shoot single stack pistols...1911's, Beretta 92 Type M, Sig p239...much better than larger double stack pistols with longer but fatter grips.
I also seem to do better with polymer doublestacks with the smallest grip insert.

Hand fit is key. If it doesn't fit, there is no point.

Don't think I've ever heard the 1911 heard a compact pistol before. I agree about their grip though.

These treads pop up once in a while but the outcome is always the same, it's very hard to top a G19 Gen 4 with a LW NT 106mm barrel for accuracy, size and performance, your millage may vary... JP.

I shoot a 9mm CCO. Officers frame, commander barrel and slide. Magazine holds 8 rounds of 9mm.

Very sweet gun. When I just hear "1911" I can't help but think of the government, apologies.
