im looking for a 9mm compact either a m&p9c or glock 26 gen 4.
i want a threaded barrel on it, are there any shops importing these? leaning towards the glock.

is there anyone importing these with the threaded barrels?
the glock 19 threaded barrel is really too long for the 26, and the 26 threaded barrel is just slightly too short.
but the 9c threaded barrel comes out just over the min requirement.

I picked up a S&W M&P40C with a Storm Lake Canadian barrel from Irunguns. They list others on their US web page and have the threaded 9mm barrel in stock. My M&P40C is listed on the Canadian web page and is a very cool little handgun.

oh brother that still get my blood up when i think of that 40c!

i purchased that gun from them and they sold it to you a couple days after, one of those left hand dosnt know what the right hand is doing, one fella put it in the wrong place and with no paper work ect ect ect.
i wasnt too worried about it s they promised to bring another in for me.... now they cant get barrels (backordered) so now im sitting on my hands waiting.

at least it went to a good home.

And yet it still shows in stock on the Canadian web page.

Sorry you didn't get it.

Why can't they sell you a regular M&P40C and stick a Canadian legal 9mm barrel in? They had them in stock last time I checked.

Their mistake, you should get it at cost price with free shipping. That's how i roll in business.

the m&p40C is in stock right now. i thought about getting the 40c and getting a 40-9mm conversion barrel for the full size which is 108mm (only 1mm longer than the "canadian barrel")
this would allow me to run 9mm and 40 in both my fs and compact.

will the full size barrel work in the compacts?? (stupid barrel length laws)... ide just buy more guns if we didnt need to blow the money on overpriced "canadian" barrels considering they are just selling the OEM barrels on the other side of the border...basically a extra 1-200 profit but irun guns does it much cheaper than everyne else..... questar wants just under a grand for the m&p9c

how do you like shooting it? i really would want the mag plate grip extension. and how many rounds do those mags hold? 7 i think of .40??
you should check out the apex triggers, i find the m&p triggers a little weird, i put the full apex kit in my full size, if i get the compact ill put the polymer apex trigger and wont change the springs.

i think im off the s&w for now... im leaning towards a glock 26 gen 4... just gotta wait for irunguns to bring some in.

You can get a Glock 26 from Questar with a Lone Wolf barrel... That's what I did. Be sure to order spare mags with it, cause it takes a while. Fantastic little pistol.

im sure its great, but its also about a grand for a pistol that retails for $600 in the states....i just find that hard to justify. the part that bugs me is the OEM barrel gets taken out, sold somewere then you have to buy a canadian barrel for it then pay to import it.

i just tried the Boberg XR9-L yesterday. sure its a little more money, but its nice.

The one I can't figure out is the M&P45C - the damned barrel is 3.1mm (!) too short. Could Smith not just run a hundred or so slightly long, sell half in Canada and the rest in the US?? It's so close that no one even makes a Canadian barrel.

Ellwood Epps had a previously enjoyed Boberg Platinum in stock for $1200 yesterday. I was gonna buy it cause its a big savings over new but my I spent my money on something else. You may want to consider buying it.
