Hey to all you optic guys, I'm looking for a new scope for my mini 14 and i came across a thread were some one suggested the vortex 1-6 strike eagle. Its pretty much what I'm look for in my new optic, but i like to window shop and compare before i buy. Any ways, my question is, what else is out there the can be matched like for like, and trying to keep the price in the same ball park or less($418 seen a sponsor sight). And what else are people using on there 223 semis, just a little curios is all.

yea that did cross my mind as well, but yodi and ground hogs are the main reason why i want a SFP. most of the area that I'm in i know the range, but if i went to a FFP, i may not get the clarity or pin point on the intended target.
There is also the optisan prestige... A little more at $650 but I've read it's a really well built scope. I'm thinking of ordering one on Tuesday . The only thing that has me concerned , is that it's only being sold by a pellet gun store.
seems like a solid piece, i wouldn't mind going with there tactical version, but its a little bit out of my price rang at the moment. On that note thou, i don't need a scope right away, I'm to busy with work so trigger time is next to non so i may be able to save a little more for a higher end. Any ways thanks for the suggestion
