I am planning on running 1 or 2 Competitionn Shotgun Courses this year.
Starting to plan now to guage interest. These will be geared more towards IPSC Style shooting, but will be comprehensive enough to encompass 3 Gun match style as well. Not really looking to tactical style training, as these are better served by individuals that have that experience. I am purely a competition shooter.
I can gear these towards beginner, intermediate and advanced.

The courses would be offered at EESA or Crumlin, date and range availability depending, or would be willing to travel.

Let me know what you think, if you are interested, PM me with your ideas.

Very interested. I think this would be awesome. I'd also be more than willing to help with setup, etc. so if you need a hand at all please let me know!

Sadly....no!
I won't infringe on someone else's territory.....call it professional courtesy.

Call it "Sharkalanche" instead and you'll be safe from the lawyers

On a serious note, equipment, various loading methods, patterning, movement.. There is a lot to cover.. I shot 1 shotgun match and a few 3gun matches and I've never even swapped out a choke. The only reason I got a shotgun is for when my new club isn't holding rifle or pistol matches, so I can still get some trigger-time and somehow I fell in with the 3gun crowd.. I'm sure there are many more like me :)

There's no top secret proprietary information involved. All the information is available on the intertoob. You just need to know how to use a dremel tool.
It also was not me who coined the term shaknado.
Use away.

Yeah...I think it might have been me that coined the term...lol
Anyways....I am not the guy to "sharknado" anyone's firearms..lol....I am just a regular guy that wants to pass on my knowledge of Competition Shotgun Shooting.
I got to admit, I might....just might.... have some sarcastic comments to throw in during the course....just putting this out there in case some one thought that might not happen.....so you are forewarned

Absolutely interested!!
Ideas - Shooting from various port positions, starting unloading with ammo in box, shoot from a railcar, (gleaned from last World shoot).

I think 7.62 should be putting on a free clinic for the shooters going to the world shoot.

I can do free!

For every three (3) people that a World Shoot Competitor signs up for one of my courses, I will allow that World Shoot competitor to touch my shotgun with their hand, Once, for a 3 second period, no petting allowed...one single touch, with no hand movement. The World Shoot Competitor can choose whether they touch my Benelli Nova or M2....not both.

Well I am not going to judge.....but if you are girth challenged....might I suggest a Super Full Turkey Choke?
Like I said...not going to judge...but there are other options available to you, that might make your "course" more satisfactory to you.

I asked for range time for the 4th of April at EESA a month ago. Due to an implosion of the current BOD that range time was not approved. I am hoping that it will be approved at the next meeting, next Monday. I am not holding my breath though. It will be awfully short notice if it does get approved. I will also be asking for more range time for April and May.
