TSC is owned by TSE so the question is valid. However at this time I have no information on what Target Sports has or stocks.

We only have this lower in black at this time.

You will have to for give me as this is some what off topic.

Might you have any bare NEA upper receivers in stock, with forward assist and dust cover??

Thank you in advanced

Don't know a ton about this type of rifle, any reason to buy one over the other? Is the one at $400 better than the cheaper one?

I have 2 Nea Lowers and the fit and finish of them is very nice. They are a good solid canadian made product which is nice as well. They are billet aluminum whereas the ATI omni is a high impact plastic/polymer/material. I believe that lower is also several ounces lighter than a standard lower thus allowing for a lightweight inexpensive AR platform. I would be interested in seeing how these perform personally but I have heard mixed things so I would like to see for myself but for 200 dollars you could always swap out the parts inside for a better quality parts kit and you are still at a decent price point.

Its nice to see the variety of AR products that have hit the market in the last 2 years allowing the prices to become more competitive. AR's are also completely modular so it allows to find that sweet spot of what works best for you.

Hope this helps.

You are reffering to the polymer one when you say that?

I didn't know that the NEA one was Canadian made. I'd happily spend more for a Canadian product, especially if it's better than the polymer one.

Thank you for the info, it does indeed help. I'd like to get on one of these ASAP.

By law, and this holds for all consumer goods in Canada, the importer is ultimately responsible for the products imported. Regardless of who made it or where it was made, the CDN importer is responsible to organize and handle any warranty claims. If you buy it in Canada, there will be a warranty system.

Searching the web, we were unable to find any credible reports of any failures of polymer lowers. If these lowers were inherently weaker or more prone to failure, there would be all kinds of reports on the internet yet we found none. We did find one citation of a guy claiming to have more than 10,000 rounds of FA through a polymer lower with no problems.

A number of other firearms also use polymer lowers, for example the XM8, SCAR and the ACR and if available, guys would be lining up to buy those.

Polymer lowers, with something like a 10.5" upper affixed, is a great way to get your kids and better half introduced into the shooting sports and AR platform.

Lightweight and easy to shoulder.
