Completion of Karl zombies rifle... 30-30 Moosberg 464 Tactical

A young man first centerfire rifle... His choice, who im i to argue, but between you and me, i doubt that Zombies stuff but i dont show it... JP.
I am lucky to have my grandkids is the right answer... JP.

I've scratched my head sometimes at some of your "builds" but your two posts above show your heart is definitely in the right place. Good job on introducing your grandson to the sport JP.

Here one of the best group @ 50 yards of the Moosberg with Leverevolution 160 gr @ .9, this is for sure a 2-2.5 MOA rifle, so a 200 yards shot would be quite easy with that rig... JP.

I think that you did an awesome thing for your grandson! With this rifle, he is likely to learn many of the things which makes the sport of shooting and hunting so fun and addicting. I learned this same lesson years ago teaching music to teenagers. Any fool can teach them to play music, teach them how to play their interests...they become fully engaged and hooked for life.

Congrats and happy times ahead with him at the range and in the field! :)

His father, my daugther's husband asked me not to take him deer hunting until he is 16, i respect that, some people are more worried, you give them time to come around, in the mean time, our shooting sessions at the farm, make a lot of noise... JP.

Man...I never thought that I'd cheer for the zombies...

Good to see a young guy getting into rifles and shooting though. And the tactical zombie stuff keeps him away from the Fudd-gems that guys like me lust after. Win-win in my book!
