Those looking for good holsters should check out Comptac's Minotaur Gladiator holster. It has snap loops like the Alessi CQC/S but has a leather backing and a kydex half shell exterior.

Super fast even with the tension set so I can't shake gun loose when holster is upside down. No break in required.

Best part is it's reasonable priced (under $100) and I received it in less than 2 weeks time after ordering it.

I even like it better than my Alessi CQC/S (good luck getting Alessi now) and I like it much better than my Delfatti and Bulman holsters!!!

Comptac makes very good stuff. I wish I had the Alessi CQC I sold for my Browning HP, another great holster.

Crossbreed offers similar holsters. Others who've tried both Comptac and CB feel that the CB is a better holster(I haven't tried Comptac). The combination kydex/leather holsters are excellent.

TDC I've noticed your posts about Glocks regarding function trumping everything. The Comptac does it. Sure my Alessi/Delfatti/bulman are nice but Delfatti and Bulman are so tight I still can't do a draw cleanly from my Bulman, I had to stretch the heck out of my Delfatti to do so.

The comptac has adjustable tension screws and even with good retention, the draw is as fast as drawing from a cheap cordura holster...lightning quick!!!

I was also surprised at how well this less expensive mass produced holster snugged the gun to my hip. With the leather holsters of cqc/s design this puts extra pressure on the holster, further impeding draw. The kydex outer shell is immune to this. The leather backing is softer and during the draw...wiggles/gives in a bit...allowing the gun to 'pop' out easily.

Plus the fact I don't have to wait over 1-2 years and pay double the price for it is very nice.

I'm not discounting Comptac holsters. I do agree that leather holsters have issues as you mentioned. My only gripe with Comptac are their plastic belt clips.

Comptac Gladiator has leather snap loops like the CQC/S

Just checked out cross breed, yes steel clips would be better. I don't use IWB so I wasn't aware of plastic clips

Greenhorse Six, go to Comp-tac site. They list CZ 75/85 and just click left handed. You can also pick beltloop width too!
