Concealed carry permit, what is best way to get one?

What if everyone on CGN applied for a carry permit............. strength in numbers...... would that get through to the CFO's? 90,000 application in a week. That would catch there attention wouldnt it?

I've only met one guy with an ATC in civilization, I've been around guns and the shooting community since I was a kid, I'm not a kid anymore. Should tell you something. Actually I've known more Canadians with various US carry permits over the years than Canadians with Canadian carry permits.

Seriously? What for???
1. Move to the States. Texas is a good place, not NY.
2. Be a private detective or a security company staffer or an armoured car driver.
3. Be a trapper with a licence in a dangerous environment.

LOL! But so true...

LOL!!!:bsFlag: "The short of it is that you need to prove you are in immediate life-threatening danger. So, fill out the form, write a check for the application fee, and submit it. If you die during the processing period you will have successfully demonstrated that your life was in danger, and your application should be authorized. If you do not die during the processing period your life was obviously not in danger and your application will be refused and your application fee will not be refunded."

...can CFO's authorize themselves? ...DO they?!?! :O

I'm not sure what the rule is but it seems like they intentionally hire anti-gun people for the job so I feel like most/all of them would have no interest in owning a gun let alone carrying one. Never have I spoken to anyone who seems to know anything about guns other than what the extent of their job requires them to know, even if they were nice people.

Lol. How many "drug dealers" do you know?

It's not exactly CCW but this is how the local gangsters do it.

If what I've read about the Vancouver area drug dealers is correct: They have their illegal handguns in their car, hidden out of sight. If it is found by the police they simply claim that they did not know it was there, they have lots of people in their car who could have left it there and since it is NOT registered to them in the restricted registry which has been in place since 1936, they can get away with it.

Be a retired judge.

Other than that, Stevebot-7 is right. The application form requires you to list four (if memory serves) incidents where your life was in danger. Obviously, if the people trying to kill you are that bad shots, you don't need to carry.

Sorry, but you are flogging a dead horse. d:h:

I meant to quote this in my previous post. Not edit savvy enough to do so.
