You may find yourself latter lammenting on your purchase of the AR and wanting to trade it away for something more manageable.
My vote goes to the 10/22. I understand the 10/22 has a cool kit that makes it look like an AK - Aks rock as they are the best assault rifle EVER!
Whatever you do, stay away from airsoft, not because they are not awesome - 'cause they are!! , but because they weigh nearly identical to real steel.
With the 10/22 you can use high cap mags and the hollow point zappers have lots of punch. It'll be less taxing on your arms, and you'll likely be able to haul your oxygen bottle to the bench at the same time as your rifle!

Lemme get this straight,
I should trade my AR for a 10/22, get an AK 47 kit for it, and get an oxygen bottle for the range. .........
I should get some of those pills you're popping too!
I'm a PE90 fan but I really wish that the AR's were made non-restricted. IMHO the Swiss have made a masterpiece but it is a bit heavy in the 20" barreled version. Still it's a riot out shooting rodents and the boys all line up to try it because of it's cool factor. But if I had an AR out varminting I'm sure they would be begging to shoot it just as much.

I thought I saw a pic posted somewhere of a member here with a deer he'd got with his PE90. Can't find it now but it was cool. Couldn't have been Alberta, minimum .23 calibre rule.
