Hi folks,

Despite my best efforts, with the charts I found on the Web, I'm having trouble getting consistent info re. the min and max loads of the powder IMR4320 for a 180gr bullet (for my .303 British round). Anyone has some data they could share with me? The reloading books I have didn't help.

And if the info for a 150gr bullet isn't too far too, that'd be the ideal scenario...

Thanks in advance,

Lou

My Lee reloading book does not list IMR 4320 as a powder used in .303. The Hornady has 2 listings:

IMR 4320 ...150 gr Spire...2400 fps...40.4 grains...2600 fps max.44.1 grains
IMR 4320....174 gr Rnose...2000 fps..34.3 grains...2400 fps max. 41.5 grains

Hope this helps....My BIL has given me loads for H4350...46 gr. for 150s. but better for .303 is 150s with 40 grains IMR 3031. he has tried them all.
