Is the NP-30N a double or single stack ?
I know on Marstar it says its a double stack,

But I messaged a certain other dealer that sells them and asked if he's got any single stacked norincos and said yes, but the only Norinco on their page is an NP-30N ( which on that page is listed as high cap. )

So .... is he by any chance selling an NP30N thats single stacked??

Im so confused

The NP29 is the single stack, NP30 the double. Same for the 45 version, one number different on the stock code.

Maybe just go find a quality gun instead :nest:
Says the guy that owns one of the cheapest 9mm on the market ( M&P ) :nest:

Before anyone starts to flame me, my first handgun was the M&P because of its low cost and better feel then a G17.

BACK on topic, as mentioned the np30 is a double stack.

On another note, I just got my Norinco 1911A1 and love it. Once i ship it to gunnar for the armco tune, im sure I'll never sell it !!

Having done all sorts of things to Norinco pistols (see earlier) I can warrant that the frame and slide are as good as anything available in terms of dimensions and hardness, the finishing, well ......... On the other hand, while they were still available in the US, Clark's would build a match gun on a Norinco in preference to anything except an original Colt. I have a bunch of Norinco NP29 internals if anybody wants to bid on them.

If you were planning to use the gun in IDPA you are going to have a problem with the NP 30. It comes with an extended slide stop which is a no, no in IDPA. To my knowledge nobody makes a regular sized slide stop lever that will fit the gun. Something to think about. You might also want to weigh the gun. For CDP it must make 41 oz. For ESP where you would be shooting against 9MM guns it can weigh 43 oz.

Take Care

Always depends on the application, and what you plan to use the gun for. If you are going to "build" a gun you might as well start with the Norc frame and go from there, much like many do with the M305.

If you just want a 45, then its just a matter of trying them all until you find one you like.

That's correct, I purchased my M&P 9mm with my Para .45 Limited as my first pistols. Reasons: The M&P had the best feel for me and people love it for it's quaity, durability, shootability and low cost. Plus it looks awesome, admit it. The Para was purchased because I wanted a 1911 and that's the one I liked best at the gun shop ! Not my first choice but oh well, it's only money. I've also got a 92FS Inox, 686P and a Sig Mosquito Sport ( modded, shoots anything ). I'm not really a gun snob, I'd just never buy a cheap Chinese gun to save a few bucks.
