Its listed on their site as: 16” 4140 M4 Profile Barrel, Mag Phos or Black Nitride finish, 1:7, 1:8 or 1:9 Twist (optional).

Yet on other sites I see it listed as: 16” 4150 CMV Chrome Moly M4 Profile Chrome Lined Barrel 1:7 Twist

And on others its listed as: 16” 4150 CMV Chrome Moly M4 Profile Chrome Lined Barrel 1:7 Twist

Maybe I've finally gone full retard or something but ....

I"m looking for something with a 1:7 twist with chrome lined 16" barrel, Gov. profile, would consider a pencil. After a fair bit of research the Core15 stuff looks like a good choice so hoping it actually does have it. Would change out to a free floating fore-end however. And a better rear sight, and ..... ah jezz....

Appreciate any input for the guys who own em.
Thanks.

I haven't seen the Scout version for sale up here, just the M4 DI and Piston versions, which should have 1:7" twists and chrome lining. Your best bet would be to give the retailer a call just to confirm the barrel specs before finalizing your order. A basic M4 DI Core 15 that I bought earlier this year came with 1:7" rifling and chrome lining.

Thanks for the reply Pop.

See, that retard thing is kicking in again. I meant the basic M4, not the scout. Ok, thats good news, did not want NON-chrome lined. I plan on mostly shooting heavier stuff but how do you find it shoots 55's? If you don't mind where did you order yours from?

The Stag stuff looks like a good choice as well but I do not want to compromise with a 1:9 twist.
Thanks.

I got mine from Wolverine, but I don't think they carry them anymore. I haven't shot it enough to be able to give a decent range report, mostly due to other issues getting in the way.
