Thanks Bob and Gord,

Weather was great for the match. Really nice for the last match of the year. Sunny with light but twitchy winds. Made hitting the 5" X ring at 1000yds a challenge. I got 9 X's in FO class, but Bob Raymond got 10 X's with his Factory 6.5/284 Fclass rig. He was shooting the load that I gave him. I'll have to reconsider who I give sensitive info to.

Gord....John K had the info for the ORA web site ready by 8pm Saturday (that's really fast), but I delayed it to Sunday afternoon. He wanted me to check the numbers, and I didn't open his e-mail until Sunday Noon when I got up and was functioning.

You are too much of a gent to do that. If you had not taken the time as others did from the ORA crew, I would not be in the game.;).

Bob.

Mike,

No mention that you were also beaten by a girl? Who happened to be there to help out Heinz, and had never shot that rifle/scope combination before. Her usual rig being a Tikka T3 in 6.5x55 SWE and a fixed x10 scope.

When I eventually convince "the dragon" to start reading the wind/mirage, her scores are only going to get better. For those that thought that 7mm x 68 was too much of a rifle for her to shoot, I think she managed it pretty well.

Hi Ice Pick

Well now we know who to blame, laff.

Mike.

P.S. Btw Bob I hope you don't think i'm gonna let you beat me all the time next year

I've never beaten anyone in a rifle match. They always beat themselves.

I just pull the trigger and hope it goes where I aim it.

I just find the acorn now and then.

She is indeed deadly with the 6.5, might need some more Thai food Steve she looks sad.;)

Its raining acorns...

Norm, belated congratulations on your win. I've been away hunting. Bob sure does have alot of acorns, doesn't he?

Thanks and yeah Terry, I've noticed when Pastor is competing there is always a prolific oak tree over his firing position.
