I want to shoot CDP with my G21SF, but the holster I was supposed to have isn't here...

Is there anyone in the Ottawa area that has a G21 holster I could borrow or are there any for sale near by?

This should fit in a pinch - tried it in my G21 and it worked fine... If you need it as a stop gap till you get your holster, your more than welcome to it...

Thanks guys. I'll check with Nichols to see if they have anything suitable. If not, I found something similar to what you posted Stormtrooper.
 
Found a holster in my assorted kit that worked, and ended up doing reloads from my pocket.

Didn't really matter though, I had so many malfunctions with my 21SF that I just wanted to finish the match... I got the gun new, and put 200 rounds of Winchester 230gr and 185gr ammo through it with no problems. Then I used Wolf 230gr ammo for the match.

I'll try different ammo again, but I think the Wolf is the problem. I definitely won't be getting any more of it after this experience.

I think I did better in SSP with my G17....

The G21 is a .40 right? didn't know that was your "cup of tea"

Is the Wolf re-manufactured ammo?
I have a guy I use for 9mm, that could "sort ya out" for some 40?

I'm normally a 9mm guy. But I got the G21 just to shoot CDP in IDPA. Wolf is 're manufactured'. Which to me means remade into something that doesn't work properly.

I'll know better when I can put a bit more real ammo through the gun.
 
Shot another box of ammo through the G21 today. Had 5-6 more stoppages. The ammo seems to be loaded inconsistently. There were a couple rounds that I was surprised made it out the barrel. The POI was lower than previous rounds. At 10m. And the slide didn't even cycle. The other stoppages were failures to eject, due to under powered ammo, and the slide not cycling fully.

I now know I will never use Wolf ammo again.

That's too bad. Wolf ammo used to be really good stuff and an excellent price.

Even with shipping to Alberta, it used to be a great deal. I still have about 250 rounds remaining of "custom" .40 S&W Wolf loaded up for me - 135 PF stuff for IDPA.

Good thing I took up reloading, I guess.

Prolly the gun. It is after all a Glock....:D

You just need more training on it.;)

If anyone ever has any issues with Wolf Bullets ammo just let us know. We sell over 50k rounds of Wolfs ammo a week ands it's important for us to know if any issues pop up so they can be rectified quickly.
