Considering a semi auto 12g, what one?

I'm a Benelli man for hunting semis. They are lighter, better balanced and much easier to clean and disassemble. Targets belong to gas guns but inertia was meant for hunting,

i only shoot waterfowl everyonce in a while. i use a single shot 12g. unless i drop the gun/shell i get 2 shots off and sometimes a 3rd. its really challanging and granted i get less birds. but i like biulding forts and playing in the mud like a little kid.

I'm in the same boat and was just looking at semi's at the shop. I was leaning toward the sx3 but the guy mentioned the versa being able to handle lighter loads, and I like to do a lot of sport shooting as well. I'm now leaning more towards the versa max.

The versa max looks to be an innovative design and may well prove to be an excellent platform, but it does not have the pedigree of any of the Brownings, Benellis or Berettas. Quality control at Remington is also spotty, as many CGNers can attest to. Very few look to upgrade after investing in a B-gun semi-auto, the same can't be said for other makes.

I have super black eagle 2 and a mossberg 930. I agree once you buy a b gun, tough to look anywhere else. Benelli makes quality guns. Not cheap but high quality.
