Considering a Stag Arms R3

I am considering a Stag Arms R3 .223. Anyone have any experience with these? I have been comparing it to the Colt Competition and STI. The price is about $400 less than the Colt and STI. Need help before I lay down $1300 (or more).

I've never owned a complete Stag rifle but I did have a complete factory built lower and the finish was perfect and it had one of the best factory triggers I've felt in an AR.
