I am possibly considering getting rid of my restricteds because i dont seem to get to the range much, its a 40 min drive and just a very basic 135 yard rifle 25 yard pistol range. I have a sig 226 combat (200 rounds)/m&p22(unfired)/nea 10.5 ar(200 rounds) with a pelican case. If this was your scenario,Is the tavor that good that you would sell them for a NR tavor in the hopes I may use it?

"The Tavor still takes STANAG magazines like the AR, which includes 10 round capacity .223 pistol magazines. In the same vein, the 1/28 thread on the TAR-21 barrel will accept all AR flash hiders, brakes and other muzzle devices. It is the cross platform compatibility, while still being an entirely separate firearm from the AR-15 that makes the Tavor one of the most popular Canadian black-rifles.

The over all length advantages of a bull-pup, the fact that the parent system has seen field use by the Israelis, and the standardization with select AR components, makes the Tavor an excellent alternative for Canadians who want to enjoy a black rifle for varmint hunting or target competitions such as 3-gun and service rifle matches."

If you are not using your restricted firearms, you may as well trade them. A Tavor would be a good choice, as would a Swiss Arms. What would you want to use the NR rifle for ? This can often narrow down the "best fit" rifle

If you need to think twice about purchasing any non-restricted bullpup or black rifle please seek medical attention. ;)

I've got my XCR-M, got my RFB. Next is a Tavor then a XCR-L

XCR is another scary, black rifle that is NR. Unless you get the tan or OD or pink; scary PINK rifle, lol.

I like mine, however the trigger is heavy and the accuracy is so-so. Pretty much sks ish on these two counts. The ergonomics are very good, it is reliable, takes AR Mags and has enough Rail space to bolt on anything else you would like.

I sold a Norinco CQ 10.5 when I bought the Tavor, I have not missed the norinco for a minute.

Accuracy update it is alot better now that the trigger is broken in.

This seriously made me lol. BTW I think I would use this as truck gun, seems perfect for opening the door and blasting yotes imo.

Lol he was on me for putting a EE ad up selling a Tavor within 2 minutes just to ask why I didnt want it anymore.

Is sooooooooo very tempting but I have money tied up elsewhere.

Unless your open to trades?

perhaps the wife?

Age 32, 5' tall, 38J hooters, 135 LBS ( 20 LBS of its in her chest ),blonde hair, blue eyes, all her teeth, plenty of mileage left to go, cooks, cleans, shoots, never says no. No aftermarket upgraded upgrades.

Maybe? Worth a shot?

lol no trades clearly marked ;) its sold now anyways. I bought 2 on this last batch that came in and the person I fronted the cash for cant pay me back in a timely fashion so this one had to go. Nothing like having the Tar-21 and the RFB out in the bush and seeing peoples faces. I see you have my same tastes. RFB, XCR-M and L , Tavor. Nice collection so far, sure Ill see you up Mission one of these times and Ill say hello.

How far would you have to drive in order to be able to shoot a non restricted rifle? I think this question is pretty relevant.

Darn too late !!!!!! Could've even topped the trade off with a little cash.

As for tastes. Love black rifles. Especially non-restricted, they are like investing in gold.
