Considering a Tavor, Is it that good?

I don't mean to high jack this thread, but I'm also thinking of buying one, how does the Tavor compare with the fs2000? Has anyone shot both?

MAC will have a lot to say about that in his next video I suspect.

Tavor has better ergonomics, is NR out of the box, better magazine compatibility, and improving aftermarket support.

The FS2000 has forward ejection.

Or let me put it this way:

These guys use the FS2000

I sold my Tavor without firing it so my impressions limited to non-firing ones but I must admit I like the ergonomics of the FS2000 better. It's better balanced front-to back and I found it just "fit" me better. TV-PP is correct about magazine compatiblity, although LAR mags work fine in the FS2000 as long as you've got something like a C-Products "Tactipul" floorplate. The Tavor locks open on the last round, the FS2000 does not (because of the forward ejection) and I liked the Tavor's trigger a bit better. The biggest advantage the Tavor has is it's non-restricted status--other than that it's personal taste.

Sorry I was referring to the accuracy and trigger of the FS2000, as these two things are the weaknesses of the tavor from what ive heard.
I posted some accuracy results here from my first FS2000. Less formal experience with my second has indicated similar results...maybe 1.5 or 2MOA with good ammo. The reset of the FS2000 trigger is very crisp and short--much more so than the Tavor. The first stage of the FS2000 trigger pull is a little stagey but there's a definite point where the final sear release is reached, making accurate shooting easier.

This is a forum... if you don't like people asking questions, time to hang up your boots and go elsewhere. Nothing wrong with asking those questions.. geesh.

Well yes, there is.... I answered the questions. It is a bull pup (not known for nice triggers)... And accuracy, well lets just say (AGAIN) it's not a target rifle... These things can be found in less time on google. Stupid is as stupid does.

Any organization dies if it doesn't attract and retain newcomers and that includes forums. The gun owner community has enough problems with disrespect from those that don't know us. Being patient and respectful to newbies costs us nothing. It behooves us to take a breath and remember when we were new.

After talking in my shilling form. I have talked to a major US trigger manufactore and they are currently in the process of creating a trigger kit for this rifle platform...
And damm they make awesome triggers. Anyone want to guess who they are or what this will do to the groups of this rifle platform. Plus anyone try a load. Currently I have ammo that has a cross in a circle that has a 62 grain pill atached to it that puts it right around the 1.5 mark. But that got me to thinking. If the trigger was improved and if I found a handload that this girl like could I get it any lower??? I guess only time will tell eh?
