Consignment guns

It's all a function of price (and condition). For pretty standard firearms, if the price is too high - they sit and sit. Consignors sometimes price high due to consignment fees, which doesn't help a gun to sell fast.

If the store has a price recommendation - then listen to it, they know the market!

Depends on a lot of factors. First of all prices of the used firearms, next is traffic of that particular store and finally advertisement (are the consignment goods advertised on a website, ads, social media...)

Ask Clay:p Guns reasonably price sell, sellers wanting what they paid new collect dust.

Yep. Same as the EE.

I don't know why you would consign and pay fees when you know how the EE works, although for certain extreme high end firearms you can reach a certain buyer with the right consignor.

Another important factor is if a store charges taxes on consignment items. They are not suppose to but the majority do which drives up the asking price even more. The taxes has already been paid once and if there is a tax, it should be on the amount the store makes on the consignment and not the entire value of a used gun. I like dealing with Eli's, Rick's and Prophet River because they include the taxes on consignment items.
