Contemplating a second pistol

I think I really like the look of the DAC 1911 and 11P1 Pistols Dlask makes. It looks like the barrel and slide are longer than most other 1911's I've seen pictures of. Can you stick a .22 conversion kit on these?

I would never be without a 1911 - once you take one apart, you'll see what I mean.

I just bought a Dlask 1911 Stainless that was made to order.

The Canadian made Dlask is the nicest, most quality built 1911 I've ever seen. The fit and finish is over the top - so are the details. There is zero play between the frame and slide - feels like it's on bearings - and that's just the beginning.

Also, a friend of mine has had no trouble getting Mr. Joe Dlask himself on the phone out in BC when needed.

I would encourage you to go for the Dlask, and you can personally tell Joe what you want on the gun - i.e. he will build it for you specifically.

No other guns in the relevant price range can offer all of this, as you can see.

P.S. "Owning and shooting a 1911 .45 WILL make you a better man."

I 1911's are intriguing, the Open to opinions, $$$ isn't too much of an issue.

Well since $$$ isn't an issue....

Grab the last P7M8 for sale at Target Sports. P7 - bestest pistol evar! Otherwise wait for the HK45, it's like a 1911, but done by HK.
