A little while ago we asked the True North Arms community to help us with something fun: pick the design and name for a brand-new muzzle brake.

First, you voted on the design — and Design C came out on top.

Then we asked for name suggestions, and after another round of voting the clear winner was…

BrakeyMcBrakeface.

Yes, really.

The internet has spoken, and we’re happy to report that BrakeyMcBrakeface is now officially in production, in stock, and ready to ship.

This isn’t just another muzzle brake — it’s a community-created piece of TNA history. From the design selection to the name itself, this one came directly from you.

To celebrate, the person who first suggested the winning name will be receiving a free BrakeyMcBrakeface muzzle brake from us as promised.

What Makes BrakeyMcBrakeface Special

Built from 4150 barrel steel and finished in a shiny black nitride coating, this brake features curved ports with varying geometries designed to help reduce felt recoil while adding a little extra noise and personality on the range.

The distinctive ring-style exterior from the winning design gives it a look that stands out just as much as the name.

Available in Two Thread Options

• .30 cal – 5/8-24 threads
• .22 cal – 1/2-28 threads

Each brake includes a free crush washer and installs easily on most compatible threaded barrels.

If you want to own a small piece of TNA history, the BrakeyMcBrakeFace is ready to ship.

BrakeyMcBreakface is not only a great name, it also describes the guy next to you at the range that thought he was going to have a mellow day of target shooting his Anchutz.... :)

Ever since first hearing the BoatyMcBoatface story I've started using the ______ MC______ face to describe lots of random funny people, topics and general absurdities of modern life!

The British Navy didn't support the will of the people for their new Arctic boat, nice to see that TNA was willing to respect the will of the people!
