Well, I have always talked sh1t about aftermarket SKS stocks. Now I am going to eat my own words as I am looking buy one as I just bought a couple Type 56s.

The two that I am looking at are the Butler Creek and Ramline makes... And they are a pain in the butt to obtain in Canada. Is their anyone who stocks these or will I have to drop-ship with some help?

I am hell-bent on these two stocks. Not a fan of the ATI or Choate conventional stocks. Nor do I want "tactical" style stock.

Any insight? Or am I up sh1t creek?

SKSMan.com lists the Butler Creek stocks for $60US, which are cheaper than the Tapco stocks....and he ships to Canada no problem (only if under $100, if memory serves).

Had a look at the Tapco Timbersmith stocks?

I know it's not synthetic, but they are another option ;)

looked at those, but... meh, the Monte Carlo stock isn't "Ruskie" enough... I would have to modify it extensively for my tastes and not worth doing to a $100+ stock. I'm not trying to turn a commie into a capitalist here. Yes... I am odd. lol.

The Butler Creek is my second choice, so it will have to do.

I think the export limit has been raised to $500.
