Conversion barrels for XDm-40 to 9mm

Has anyone done this? I have a Glock 22 that I run a 9mm conversion barrel in and it runs great. Wondering if I could do the same thing with an XD or XDM or if I'd need more then just a drop in barrel.

They make drop in barrels to convert to 9mm and 357 sig, but for 9mm the 40sw extractor is bigger so you 'may' encounter some failures but as I read they generally are pretty reliable. Check and see if you can get a storm lake barrel or maybe lone wolf, hope this helps.
