Conversion kits

I'm curious. I keep reading and hearing about conversion kits for pistols. Is there such a thing for the newer beretta 96A1? Or is there a 22 version of the beretta 96a1 or fs series?

chiappa has an M9 like pistol in 22 lr.

Beretta makes a .22LR conversion for the 92FS...go to their web site,not sure if they are available in Canada.

I have seen that conversion from beretta but it doesn't say if it works with the 96 series nor the A1 model.

On Beretta's product page, some fine print says that the .22 conversion kit does not work with the Vertec or A1 frames. It bummed me out, because I kinda wanted one for my 92A1. Last I saw, Frontier Firearms had a Chiappa version of the M9 in .22. Why not get it and come back with a range report?
