Converting a BLR 30-06 to 35 Whelen

Is this doable? Could I just put a rechambered 358 Win barrel on and be done with it?

See if Ron Smith [Alberta] has the tooling to rebore the existing barrel.I think he may.I don't have his # as I'm at work right now...............Harold

Whelan would not require new magazine, .358 Win. would. Might be cheaper and easier to trade rifles or keep the one you've got and buy another, man can't have too many.
