Converting an SKS to take AR style mags.

I have read a few threads on here about guys modifying there SKS to take the AR style mags, All the data seems sparse and incomplete. Has it all been completed into one spot by anyone? Or anyone out there who did it have a lot of pics for a “how to.” I would pay money for a step to step manual. Does anyone have any experiences with these?

Nope,simply because you cant altere in any way the Lar mag to fit a firearms,it's the mag that is regulated.

I thought I had seen a guy who had it working without an adapter by grinding down the bolt and putting in a screw in the gun. Not really sure what all he did thought and can't find a good source of the info.

An adapter would work fine but not sure I have the tools to make one.

No plans on altering a mag. Just figured if the gun would accept AR mags it would also accept the LAR mags.

Ya but the adapter that you see from zeuce require altering the mag to fit.
