Converting CZ75 to SAO?

Hi Guys,

Just took my CZ75B to the range for the first time yesterday... Loved the way it shot, but thought the trigger had a bit too much creep. The double action is also brutally long, and I don't really see the point in having it for a gun that is only for range use, especially one with no de-cocker!

I've heard you can convert a DA/SA 75 to single action only, has anyone had any experience with this or know a gunsmith around the GTA that could do the conversion? What would the approximate cost be? If it's gonna cost almost as much as a new SAO gun, I'll probably pass...

Also does anyone know if there's a dealer in Canada that stocks the parts necessary for the conversion?

Thanks!

buy a competition hammer and install it, your trigger will be much better, its about a $65 fix and pretty easy to DIY.

You can get a single action trigger as well.Ghost products is about the best place to get parts.Doing it yourself is not for the faint of heart, as you need to make long pins to help get everything into place. The trigger return spring is a cast iron bastard to get back in properly.

Thanks for the info, I'd definitely want to get a gunsmith to install the parts...

Colt45cz75 you are supposed to use the hammer pin retention pin as a slave pin when putting the trigger and return spring back in.

Is there a dealer in Canada that stocks those, or do you think I'd have to order it from the US?

I only know of guy ordering from cz custom shop. factory cz parts, if not in stock take 6 months to get from Czech. try cfram they may have some
